Social change initiatives led by university students implemented for F/M youth in universities using social media, technology, and cultural activities.

This activity is planned under The OBADER project (“I Initiate” in Arabic) or “Women and Youth Entrepreneurs Leading Change”, which is implemented over a 4-year period (2018-2022) by CARE International in West Bank and Gaza and funded by the Government of Canada (GAC), in partnership with the Business Women’s Forum (BWF), Birzeit University’s Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), Save Youth Future Society (SYFS), and the Small Enterprise Centre (SEC). OBADER is planning to enhance the economic empowerment and increase the prosperity of low-income women and female and male youth entrepreneurs in central (including Nablus) and South of West Bank and Gaza (WBG).
In order to identify social change initiatives at the universities level in Gaza Strip, Save youth Future Society (SYFS) and CARE International in Palestine (West Bank/Gaza) are aiming to implement an intensive 3 days orientation and training program to ensure good Identification of social change initiatives at the university level (primarily to challenge existing stereotypes about women’s roles, mobility, women’s participation the public sphere as well as inheritance rights or promoting entrepreneurship for environmental sustainability) focusing on issues/opportunities facing women and female youth from the following Palestinian universities .
